One World by Jan Burns age: 60 country: USA This mask represents for me a world of peace and harmony and love. The face incorporates both male and female features and colors of white & black & brown & everything in between--representing all the people of the world as one. The rainbow crown depicts in another way the overarching importance of the beautiful and peaceful harmony between all colors & races & ages & religions & philoso- phies of people --within this unique & amaz- ing & beautiful place which is our world. The yellow wall up to the mouth represents the brightness of truth and beauty and harmony- -and is a barrier to negativity--- we want no war, no cruelty, no racism, no terrorism, no poverty, etc. The flowers growing on the wall represent the birth and growth and beauty of these concepts.
